Description

Eva Collins graduated with a BS (Hons) in Political Science from the Portland State University, MA in Political Economy from Essex University and Ph.D in Public Policy from George Washington University. Her doctorate was a multi-stakeholder analysis of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's voluntary environmental programs.

Eva's research interests are focused on management and sustainability. She has explored the tensions of “traditional” business models (e.g. continued growth) with the foundational concepts of sustainability (e.g. limited natural resources) and offered creative solutions (e.g. the potential of commerce as a solution to sustainability instead of the problem).

Before coming to the University of Waikato, Eva was a lobbyist for United Technologies Corporation for 10 years.
